April 26, Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia -- China Telecom and China Communications Services Corporation Limited jointly held an opening ceremony of the Indonesia rep. office which is the fifth affiliate set up in Asia-Pacific region by China Telecom following the presence of its affiliates in Central Asia, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.

The opening ceremony were jointly hosted by Deng Xiaofeng, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of China Telecom (Hong Kong) International Ltd., Gao Tongqing, General Manager of China Telecom Jiangsu Branch and President of Jiangsu  Communications Services Co., Ltd. and Yang Fan, General Manager of China Communications Services (Hong Kong) International Ltd..

In his congratulatory address，Deng Xiaofeng pointed out that China Telecom would, through the expansion of its branch service network, provide better and more convenient telecommunication services to the Chinese-funded  enterprises across the Asia-pacific region and the foreign enterprises resided in China, thus capable of introducing into Indonesia rich experiences in communications services management as well as comprehensive information services products.

Yang Fan stated that China Communications Services Corporation Limited is held by China Telecom and opened its rep. office in Indonesia mainly for the purpose of providing communications operators, equipment manufacturers, special communication networks with communications network construction services, outsourcing services, contents application and other services.

Some Officials from the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Indonesia and The Chinese Enterprises Association were also present at the ceremony and remarked that the founding of Indonesia rep. office of China Telecom and China Communications Services Corporation Limited would vigorously drive the sino-indonesia exchanges in business and telecommunication industry.
